This device automatically turns on in low light, projecting illumination downward; enough to see by without being obtrusive. MOTION ACTIVATED: When motion is sensed, auto-bright light mode is activated. After motion stops light will remain on for 30 seconds then return to dusk-to-dawn.

DUSK-TO-DAWN NIGHT LIGHT MODE: Light is projected downward and will only activate when dark, conserving energy.
